Digital Transformation: China v.s. Europe

22nd November 2016, Shanghai -  CEIBS Center on China Innovation received a delegation of CIONet,  the biggest European IT executive community, and hosted a seminar on “Digital Transformation: China v.s. Europe”. Dr. Vincent Chang, professor of entrepreneurship made a welcome speech, and Dr. YE Peng, CEO CM Fintech Investment gave a lecture on "Building Business: Lessons From China”, followed by a keynote speech "New challenges, new scenarios for the CIO at the digital era" by Mr. Luis Miguel Rosa, General Director, CIONet.
Dr. Ye Peng is CEIBS EMBA alumni and holds Ph.D. in information and technology from Ulster University. With a wealth of working experience in Motorola, Apple,, Dr. Ye shared his insights in the latest disruptive innovation that are reshaping business model, transforming customer experience and process management, in finance, transportation and retailing, etc. Dr. YE noted that such innovation is largely driven by the emergence of middle-class with more sophisticated demand in greater customer experience, and empowered by wide-spread of digital applications. He believes that the trend will continue to disrupt more industries. 
Mr. Luis Miguel Rosa is General Manager for CIONET Spain and Latin America, and Good Vibes Manager at The Excellence Net; he holds two master degrees on Business Administration and Quality Management. In his lecture, he introduced the network and the organization’s and professional’s capacities and development on the digital age.
Attending the seminar are 5 Chinese innovation and strategy executives from local and MNCs and 20 European CIOs in a variety of industries from automotive, media, consulting, engineering, including Daimler AG, Grupo Prisa, Dupont etc.
